Project Overview:

The Larimer Conservation District, in partnership with Colorado State University Extension, is conducting an Agricultural Needs and Gaps Analysis to better understand how to support farmers and ranchers across the district. This project combines existing data, producer input, and a review of successful conservation and agricultural engagement models to identify current needs, barriers, and opportunities. The results will inform practical, mission-aligned program options and an implementation strategy that reflects both producer priorities and the district’s capacity—helping guide future investments, partnerships, and services that strengthen agriculture in Larimer County.

Want to share your perspective?

Farmers and ranchers in Larimer and Weld counties are invited to help shape future agricultural programs by participating in a virtual focus group or completing a short survey. Your input will directly inform priorities, services, and investments by the Larimer Conservation District.
