Jefferson, Larimer, Boulder Valley, and Longmont Conservation Districts Funding Announcement: Regional Conservation Partnership Program

We are pleased to announce that Jefferson, Larimer, Boulder Valley, and Longmont Conservation Districts have been awarded a total of $13.4 million through the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP). This funding will support forest, vegetation, and riparian restoration initiatives across the Northern Front Range of Colorado. 

Through this funding, we hope to implement approximately 4,000 acres of forest treatments, 8,000 acres of noxious weed treatments, and 100 acres of riparian habitat restoration on private forest land. Each conservation district will play a vital role in the planning, design, and implementation of these treatments, in collaboration with NRCS. We are excited to work with private landowners to enhance the resilience of the forest ecosystem and improve watershed health.
